SAAS was set up and founded By Kevin Healey Stoke on Trent’s Citizen of the year, Kevin was approached by a large number of ASD adults because they felt that there were lack of services and no support in the area.
SAAS was founded in May 2007 so far it has over 170 members who have ASD and are adults

SAAS are currently working on having a cyber cafe which will consist of a coffee bar, snacks, meals, this will also be open to the public, staff will be employed at the centre and also people with ASD, they will gain life skills, Independent living skills, OCN’s & NVQ’s we will also deliver training, and much more we hope to have this centre up and running by 2010
