Calling all actors and filmmakers, New Autism Drama

Asperger filmmaker Andrew Dobosz is shooting and directing a unique micro budget short drama for Autism ambassador Kevin Healey this summer called Twin Brothers Worlds Apart.

The film will be based on a biography book about Autism Campaigner Kevin Healey. It is set in the early 1980s and will focus on Kevin as a child growing up with Aspergers syndrome. Including his obsessions, bullying he received at school and his struggles with understanding the world. It will also feature his twin brother Shaun who has autism.

All cast and crew will need to work voluntarily as it is for charity Staffordshire Adults Autistic Society. Producer Andrew is looking to cast a young male actor aged between 7 – 12 to play Kevin and Shaun, and adult male and female actors of various ages. A full crew is needed, 1st AC, AD, sound recordist, lighting, set designers, runners, hair and make-up etc. Andrew  will be shooting on the Blackmagic URSA Mini 4.6K if it releases in time! The film will mostly be shot in Stoke On Trent and the surrounding areas in Staffordshire.

We are looking for university and college students to be involved in this project, and any company’s and businesses whom can help. Hopefully another award winning drama to put Stoke on Trent on the map.

Castings will be taking place in the next few weeks. For further updates visit
